[pct-l] Wonderful Kick-Off

I also just came back from Kickoff. It was a really nice time. I  
could not walk from the kitchen/movie area to the other end of the  
campground or to the vendor area without it taking at least an hour  
or two, there were so many nice people to talk to.

On Sunday night, Trailhacker and I hiked up the Spitler trail to the  
PCT and found the spot behind Apache Peak where he fell in the snow  
last year. There was no snow at all this year! About the same date,  
too. After admiring his near death experience we picked a poor  
campsite and nearly lost our tent in the gale.
