You could always do the Billy Goat Shakedown trek. He hikes from Warner Springs to Kickoff. I'm sure he doesn't do it as a shakedown since he has done it so many times that he knows his gear like the back of his hand. 

It would make a good shakedown though since once you get to Kickoff there will be vendors selling stuff so if any of your existing stuff just isn't working for you, then you can swap it out at Kickoff. It does require an extra week of hiking and potentially extra money for whatever might get swapped out...
