[pct-l] Lake Tahoe

Thanks for the rapid responses.  It looks like hiking from the border and
arriving at South Lake Tahoe for a family reunion around June the 20th is
doable regardless of the snow levels however, the less snow the better.
Based on Halfmile's analysis of PCT thru hikers in 09 and 10 and all your
responses it seems to take 65 to 75 days for hikers who complete the trail.
Hopefully next year will be a lower snow year.  Good luck to all those
heading out this year.  It looks like one of the largest snow years in
awhile.  148% of normal this time of year according to the Department of
Water Resources statewide data.  45% more than last year.  Be safe.
