[pct-l] Handheld GPS Recommendations

Halfmile,

that is the first item I checked and I do lithium batteries selected.
I was just checking the Garmin site and they have no more info on the 
battery indicator.

I find the menu trees to be illogical and confusing. both the manual 
supplied on disk and the Garmin site lacked info about how to calibrate the 
electronic compass. I finally stumbled across the "calibrate compass" setting.

So far my impression of this unit is not favorable.
