usually mid to late July if I remember correctly...and that's without overload 
of snow! I know last year the largest pack was in between Independence and 
Mammoth on the 4th

Subject: [pct-l] Lake Tahoe

Hello All
I will not be thru hiking this year for the first time but it is looking
good for next year.  Anyways, I have a family reunion in South Lake Tahoe
about Mid june.  I am curious as to when most thru hikers arrive in this
region.  How many days on average does it take to arrive in this area?
