[pct-l] Squall 2 on the Coast

So I live on the coast of Oregon. It's a very rainy area. James and I just
took out our Squall 2 to test it in the elements. We seam sealed it before
we went and really loved it the first night but the night before we left
there was a typically coastal down pour. Well, needless to say our top outer
shell of our sleeping bags were soaked. From close inspection it was
dripping from the roof just about every where through the fabric. It didn't
look like condensation it looked more like the silicone impregnated ripstop
nylon may have been failing.
We're heading on another trip down the Rogue River, another pretty rainy
area and was wondering maybe if we should lightly scotch proof it? We're
going to re seal it for sure I just was curious what those with henry's
tarptents who live in a very rainy area do. I know it can't be just our
tarptent because even tents can't withstand Oregon's rain forest.
Thanks
Ashley
