[pct-l] Lost Coast

Hi Guys,

I have been living in Petrolia for the past year working with the
Mattole Restoration Council. Dogs are allowed in the King Range ("Lost
Coast") and can be delightful to have around. Vicious, dope smoking
attack dogs will not wander out of the hills and kill you in your
sleep. It's pretty rainy right now so some of the creek crossings may
be a little precarious, but there's a high route option too. One thing
that would be good PCT practice would be to hike the 26 miles from
Petrolia to Shelter Cove, resupply at Shelter Cove then hike down into
the Sinkyone State Park and end up at Usal Beach (another 2-4 days).
This could be done the other way around as well. In any case, I'm here
until April 15th (Wow that's soon) and would be happy to help out in
any way (info, shower, etc.), just shoot me an e-mail. I don't own a
vehicle, but you could probably convince me to do a drop off/pick up
with your vehicle. See y'all on the trail!
