To tap on to what Token Civilian has said. We have gone from little to no
snow to more than 80+ inches of new snow here at Snoqualmie Pass. I have
two inches of new snow this morning and it is still snowing.

We don't plan any of our PCT Series hikes to start before mid-July, and even
then we do encounter snow.

There are SOBOers that start early, but in doing so, you need to make sure
you are able to properly navigate over the snow!

This late snow, however, is more likely to melt out faster, as we do not
have as many "freezes" that occur this time of year as opposed to when we
get the snow in January like is suppose to happen..
