A lot of it comes down to self control... When you hit a town can you resist the fresh oranges... Or your favorite 6 pack ( which at Warner springs will cost 16$...). ... Here I get 12 beer for 8 or 9$ so it was a shock for me... Amber Bock too, not Budweiser stuff.

A lot of your budget needs to include town splurges, they are inevitable so don't fight it... Plan for it ; )
