Good morning, Piper,

Since you’re a female hiker I sincerely hope you never attain the attributes
that allow me to sleep well wearing a headnet outside of a tent: 1) It’s
helpful that I have a full, bushy beard to assure the miserable mosquitoes
can’t reach me through the mesh with their dip-sticks, and 2) It’s
unfortunate – but useful – that enduring many years of gunfire, heavy
equipment, and chainsaws without ear protection has damaged my
high-frequency hearing acuity to the point I barely hear their infernal
whining.
