Hi Lauren,
Try checking with the Diamond Lake Resort and see if they know of any
transportation options along Hwy 138, otherwise you may have to hitch.
I found this a difficult hitch when I left the trail there in 2009
although you might have better luck.

The STAGE bus has weekday service between Etna and Dunsmuir via Yreka.
