For Etna Summit to Dunsmuir:

Option A:
Hitch to Etna from Etna Summit; Siskiyou STAGE Etna to Yreka; Siskiyou STAGE Yreka to Dunsmuir.
STAGE runs only on weekdays, not on weekends or holidays.  <http://www.co.siskiyou.ca.us/GS/stage.aspx>

Option B:
>From Etna Summit hike sobo 100 miles on PCT to Castella; hitch to Dunsmuir.  
Better option if you have the time, IMHO!!   ;o)
