You can go to Dunsmuir. You can just shop in Dunsmuir or in the small  
store in Castella. You'd be surprised what you can subsist on if you  
have to.

This one is harder. I'm pretty sure the locals will object to the  
closure of this post office. But you can stock up on cinnamon rolls  
and sundried tomato croissants. There's also a small store.
