Or what are now THOUSANDS of visitors, many who will NEVER get another chance who have been denied access to the trail.

As of this morning local news reports that the Mist trail is still shutdown with no idea when it will open.  I just hope they don't replace the current fence with some chain-link thing that is safer but ruins the view.  It is, after all, the Federal Government that makes such decisions.
