[pct-l] North Oregon Shuttles?

First time user, hope I'm doing this right...

I'm planning a road trip in a couple weeks up from SoCal to Portland, and
was thinking I'd hike about 75 miles of the PCT from about F11 up to Bridge
of the Gods, and check out Mt. Hood. It would be my first hike on the PCT
longer than just a single overnight, and my first visit to northern Oregon.
So I'm trying to figure a few things out.

I don't have a ton of extra time for side-trips unfortunately, so I'm hoping
to find transportation from Portland to Lake Clackamas to get started. And
then when I finish, a shuttle from Cascade Locks to Portland.

I've thought about parking my car somewhere (hopefully secure) in Cascade
Locks or just across the river. And then somehow getting a ride down to
Lake Clackamas to start the hike.

I talked to this "Sea to Summit" company in Portland and they were telling
me minimum $175 for a shuttle from Cascade Locks to Portland. Which is
outrageous for like the 45 mile distance. I could probably get a taxi for
less... I don't even want to ask them about the ride from Portland to
Clackamas.

Any thoughts on how to figure all this out? Anybody local know any good
leads?

Thanks for your help!
