[pct-l] Artificial concern for hikers dealing with snow and water

With the snow, the 115 degree temperatures and the 20 miles of POODLE  
DOG BUSH (Oh my god, how AWFUL!), I'm getting the idea that the PCT  
just wants to take a break from people hiking on it.
