Just a quick bit of info...

There is still no significant change in the amount of backcountry snow, still 3 to 8 feet above 8,000. The creeks are flooded in flat meadows and ripping along with huge volumes of water at trail levels. Where the trail is above 8,000, there may still be intact snow bridges, but they won't last for long! Search extensively for log, rock, and snow-bridge crossings across creeks to avoid getting into the strong currents! Dry crossings can be found if you will be patient enough to look. One mile per hour is still the average for over-snow conditions and slower if you don't have a GPS (in the trees) or are on steep traverses!
