Melanie,
Can I hike with you?
I am afraid of the dark.
All those flesh eating, hiker stalking beast of prey, not to mention  
"SWITCHBACK"  the trail pirate, and glowing eyes in the dark make me 
nervous.
I would find comfort in your strong arms and perhaps you 
could....aaahhh....uuuhhh....How do I say this?
Aaahhh....uuuhhh....Maybe you could teach me CPR.
