[pct-l] Campsites and Snow Pack

Looking at some of Halfmile's maps, I see he lists campsites, and I saw
there his notice that in the San Felipe Hills they are really hard to find.
The maps I bought (from Postholer) don't do that, and now I'm kicking myself
for having bought them. Could have gotten the others printed for far
cheaper, as I found too late the link on his site to a company that does it.
D'oh! Maybe I can still return these...

Anyways, I wondered if theres a resource other than the Halfmile maps that
list campsites, or at least if this is really an issue.

On a related note, I wanted to download the Halfmile maps for the sections
most likely to require real orienteering due to snowpack, i.e. the Sierra,
because they have a wider frame of reference for spotting landmarks. I want
to know which maps to print. In what sections is snow pack an issue, that
is, from where to where?
