I used a Gossamer Gear 1/8" Thin Light pad (2 oz) for breaks and under my Insul Light air mattress at night. I used a 2-mil plastic sheet as a ground cloth under my tent or when cowboy camping. I also checked my campsite for sharp things before setting up. I had no leaks. Snap
