[pct-l] underwear on the trail?

my previous signature was "freeballing since 1983"

i think that says it all... waste of weight... less breathable

Hello All,This may seem like a dumb question but....does anyone wear underwear 
out there? I've recently been looking at shorts that have a very light mesh 
liner inside them and was considering these to wear and not underwear. Logic 
being hygiene and weight.
