pcta said it's about 300 attempts a year with betwen half and a third finidhing... so about 100 to 150 a year.

not sure about section hikers who eventually complete or how many for all of earth's history.

Does anyone have any idea how many people have (year/total) hiked the PCT?  From beginning to end?
