[pct-l] Bear question.

I was watching that Gold Rush series the other night and on one of the quick
facts they show before commercials said that 98% of the grizzle bears in the
United States are in Alaska. They didn't say where the other 2% are but I'm
assuming they must be in zoos or cages somewhere, am I correct? 

Ok, that was the long version of. "Are there still a few stray grizzlies in
California, Oregon or Washington that someone hiking the PCT could
encounter?"
