[pct-l] thru dogs defense

Hi gang,
he following is the best defense against aggressive, hostile trail dogs 
in the following order:

1. Smile and say nice dogie, nice dogie.
2. If that does notwork, growl as loud as you can.
3. If that does not work, throw the dog a dog biscuit.
4. If that does not work, run as fast as you can.
5. If you can't outrun the dog take the pet cat out of your pack, throw 
her her on the trail and keep on running.
    This should work because the dog almost certainly will go after the 
cat instead of you.
