*(Annual) Bay Area Pre-"Annual-Day-Zero-PCT-Kick-Off" Meet & Greet BBQ

Thank you to everyone who made it out to the get-together yesterday, major
thanks to Shroomer and Katie for being the most excellent hosts, and
Shroomer's excellent guiding and anazing grill-fu. (Additional props to
Ranger Dan's eloquent tour of the Muir house.)

The weather was excellent (bright and brisk), both the company and scenery
was fabulous, and the food was incredible. This was proof hiker types can
*cook* - and not just dehydrated stuff. This bodes extremely well for a
kickoff potluck.

I'll leave it to the better writers in the group to wax extemporaneous, but
it was a hell of a lot of fun and a great way to get amped up for the
trail.  Shroomer and I have made a deal that if I do the organizing, he's up
for doing this again next year, hence the first (A) in the frankensteinian
acronym above.    So, consider this fair warning for 2012.  :>

It was great meeting you all, and can't wait to see you again at kickoff!
