People are suggesting the Sierras, and some are suggesting Sequoia or Yosemite. Keep in mind you cannot set foot in either park with your dog. You can hike north of 'em, south of 'em, or in between 'em, but not in 'em. There is plenty of fine dog-friendly territory in the Sierras if you know what the regulations are. Marion
