I have a food idea for you all.  Our bulk/organic food market just underwent
a huge remodel, and they now carry "amazing maize".  It's quite tasty - in
between corn nuts (which I actually don't like) and popcorn.  Pretty
nutritious and caloric, non-cook, easy to eat.  Don't know how it will stand
up to 2600 miles of snacking, however. You can look for it in bulk foods, or

If Ray Jardine had known about this, he would never have recommended the
