[pct-l] Gore-Tex uUppers

Greetings,

Gore-Tex uppers on trail shoes are frequently written about negatively on this list. Rightly so in my experience, since they're slow to dry. But. I bought a pair of Keen trail shoes at REI in Northridge last summer because they have the widest toe box I could find. Even though they are Gore-Tex. 

I'm shoveling snow (6,000' on San Jacinto). Glad for the Gore-Tex. 

That said, I still would not wear them on the PCT.
