[pct-l] Bring Guidebooks or Maps?

That's an idea.  His writings are great, and if I could get the Reader's
Digest version of a short story, maybe 2 or 3 paragraphs, it might work.
 I'm an old English Lit. major in a prior life, and I love good writing like
Abbey, or Jackass, but I was so dead tired after a full day of hiking, I
just couldn't think of reading more than Yogi, a map, and a Reader's
Digested short story.  That's pitiful!  Pre-digested literature.  I'm
getting sick to my stomach about now.
