[pct-l] Sierra City to Belden to Chester

Last year (2010) there was snow on the summits and on the north faces and in
the shade until well into June.  It snowed every week from early April
through the end of May.    This year (2011) there has not been snow for
several weeks although there's a good storm going on there now.  Temps until
the last few days have been in the 50s during the day.  Natives are worried
about the lack of water.  With the current storm the situation could change
and snow could continue or this could be a dry year.  Stay flexible.
