[pct-l] Bring Guidebooks or Maps?

If all you want are navigation tools, then no, you don't need to add  
the guide books to your other tools. But if your hike will be  
diminished by looking at peaks, rocks and plants and wondering what  
the names are, then yes, bring the guide books.

Believe it or not, there really are people who like to know about the  
natural history when they hike.
