[pct-l] long term parking; was [PCT FORUM!]

It's complex but, yes, it's sort of a yoyo.  My wife's hiking north while I
solo cycle on a mountain tandem bike all around her position, meeting up as
much as practical.   At the end (hopefully in CA) she throws her pack on the
BOB trailer and hops on as stoker.  Then we tour mostly south and ultimately
back to San Diego just before Thanksgiving.

That's the plan, anyway.   We've got other options but they generally put
undue load on various relatives and the vehicle has got to get stored
anyway.   We travel full time and so we've got vehicles, RV, trailers, etc
scattered all over the country.  That experience has taught us that we need
to keep the vehicles under cover, enclosed, occasionally started up, moved
around, etc.
