[pct-l] Virtual through-hike?

Speaking of things we could pitch to the corporate big-wigs, how about, "Biggest Loser:  PCT" or "Survivor:  PCT" or "The Great Race PCT?"

In "Biggest Loser," it could be a lot simpler than on the usual show.  Contestants simply see who makes it to Manning first.  Or maybe just who makes it the furthest before weather shuts down the trail.  Or if they're in teams, the team with the most people who make it the furthest wins...and teams should probably have to stick together.  Or maybe the producers choose a section and whoever loses the most weight on that section wins.

On "Survivor," you have the usual back-stabbing, fluid alliance thing, only it revolves around the logistics of through-hiking.

On "Great Race," it'd be pretty much like the usual thing, only on the PCT.
