I dont want to offend anyone with my conditioning, but before you slam
my post,my #s are in fact true as the day is long. Some have
questioned my mileage recording ability and I can and will back my
claims, this is my first "thru" in 2011,but by far not my first rodeo.
The section I did yesterday(4000ft to 5200ft) was a rough road in the
summer, but infact drivable and mileage off a car speedometer is used
in most of my journeys, but I do carry gps as well. No I dont race in
the Olympics, but I train to be a trail maniac, and numbers dont mean a
thing to me,I flew because I wanted to be at Blue Canyon at sunset, and
the heavy bear useage on the old hwy 40. Hike on.
