My...."Fair Lady"....thank you for coming to the rescue....I love you truly.
Thank you for having the courage of telling it like it is.....I could not have said it any better.
Yes, many not so kind things have been said about me on the list but many more...."he,he,he, that was so funny" responses were send to me off-list by the silent majority.
They are more polite and not nearly as noisy.
You are one of the few that has the courage to stand up to the noisy minority.
For that I thank you....you are a remarkable and courageous woman....and I love you truly.
Being that it is Christmas time I had decided to just ignore all the attacks and hatred rather than further stir the fire of hate.
Hope to meet you on the trail someday.

I have been accused of many things, some may be true, most of them are baseless.
Yes, Switchback and Reinhold kid around a lot and try to put a humorous spin on our discussions.
However, and I repeat however, we never, ever, say it in a mean hateful way.
We are not the "ever serious gloomy guys"....we are just "happy go lucky guys" always looking at things in a jovial way and our posts reflect that.
Unfortunately this does not go over to well with our "overly serious'' members and the hatred that was recently vented shows that.

THAT IS SAD NEWS....TRULY SAD.

Creepy?............................Hey,....anybody creeping around in the wilderness at night must be a creep.

Old?...................................I guess you could say 71 is old....I say you "ain't yet" fully matured until your 71.

No respect for women?...Hey, I treat my women right....I  am  "OLD SCHOOL"   when it comes to women.
                                           I am the type that opens the door, pulls out the chair, for women.
                                           I pamper and spoil my women, put them on a pedestal and treat them like a
                                           princess. Just ask Karen or any women that really got to know me.

Lonely?..............................Lets see now....In the spring you usually find me hiking in the Grand Canyon.
                                           In the summer and Fall you usually find me hiking in the Sierra, Rockies, or
                                           wherever.
                                           In the winter you usually find me skiing in the Sierra or wherever.
                                           In between you will find me  windsurfing, playing tennis, gardening, traveling
                                           and taking care of business.

Did they say lonely?........HECK.........I DONT HAVE TIME TO BE LONELY!!!
