[pct-l] Early start, early finish

I am going to hike the PCT this coming spring. I was thinking about leaving significantly earlier then the normal crowd. Most likely around March 1st. I was looking for some feedback on this idea. Is the snow going to be to difficult to cross? Or the avalanche danger to high? I am planning on bringing snow shoes for almost the entire trip at this point. Has anyone ever started this or early or know anyone that has, I would love to get in touch with them. The reason I want to leave so early is simply because I want to be back before August. However, if the trip is going to be miserable then it is not worth it and I would consider leaving at a later date.
