[pct-l] Sierra Snow Report....good news & bad news

Hi gang,
I know it's to early to tell, but it may be an indicator of what 2011 
will be like.
So far the skiing at Mammoth is marginal.
Mammoth Mountain, in the heart of the Sierra averages 40" by the end of 
November.
In 2010 Mammoth had already 98" of snow by the end of November.
So far, through December 4, we have only 49" and no snow forecast for 
the next few days...bummer!!!

This is good news for hiker trash like you....but bad news for ski bums 
like me.
