This is the Horseshoe Meadow Kickback  Rendezvous.
 
There is planning going on for an end of  season campout at the Horseshoe 
Meadow Campground near Lone Pine CA.  It is  at around 10,000 feet.  You just 
drive your car up there and camp.   Simple.  
 
You are in the High Sierra and much  adventure is at hand-- bears, 
marauding Indians, bears, Drug Cartel  soldiers, bears, intense radiation, bears, 
changing weather, bears, hiker trash,  bears, and super fun.  Or you can bring 
a book and just kickback and enjoy  a good read in the heart of the 
Sierras.  Nice.
 
There are lots of good day hikes and a  nice loop hike on the PCT and 
Cottonwood Pass.  
 
Your hosts will be Meadow Ed, Crash, and  Switchback.  It will probably be 
on full moon nights.  More to  come later.
