For those who have recently (last few years) hiked section O can you answer a question for me, please.  Is Alder Creek Trail still in use heading North off of the PCT, does the creek flow into late August and is their potential camping?  Thanks so much for any info.  mountain mike

We left a vehicle at the Forest Service office along the Hwy in Seiad Valley without any problems when going back for the fire closure in 2008.  There was a bit more activity and supervision there than up the road at Grider Creek.

Has anyone ever had any trouble with leaving a car at Grider Creek Campground?  Just wondered if it was relatively safe to park there for a few days for a section hike.
