[pct-l] Deep Creek Detour

IMO, there is no need to take the detour around Deep Creek. The trail is
99.9999999% fine. Why miss the hot springs, or the very nice hike above the
river?

Note this: when you emerge from the canyon, just past the only land slide
that is of any concern, you'll come to the Mojave dam. You should
immediately cross the river to the south side and hike west until you find
the PCT. Your maps will not help you here. Ignore the PCT signs. The trail
vanishes. If you wait to cross farther downstream you'll have to swim, and
it doesn't look clean or inviting.
