I suppose you could hike with a Firewalker--in addition to letting them melt snow, fry ticks and scorch poison oak for you, they could also kill things like snakes, squirrels and marmots for dinner each night. That way, not only do you not have to carry food, it's already there along the trail waiting for you. It'll also be fresher than what you'll find in all those...er...mobile hiker boxes.
