Dear Guthrie,

The backpacker's campground in Toualame Meadows is wonderful and it's on a
"drop in" basis. It is in back of a main camping area. Walk into the
campground and past the showers, bathrooms and it's in back. Of course
Lyell Canyon has splendid soft meadow camping but make sure to camp 4 miles
before T.M. You should not have a problem any where near Yosemite
