[pct-l] Big Bear to Agua Dulce, Conditions in June?

Thank you for the information. I was expecting it may be getting hot, although I wasn't thinking 105. Hopfully that will just be in the valleys and it will be a bit cooler higher up. Here in western Washington I've seen years when we didn't reach 70 degrees until July.
I'm looking forward to stopping at Hiker Heaven. It's really great what you do for the hikers.
Best regards,
Tom

> "June Gloom" (low clouds and fog burning off toward afternoon) is common around here in May and June, though with climate change things haven't been as predictable as they once were. Hikers coming through usually describe being above a sea of clouds, like the mountains were islands. We've had a lot of rain this winter, and the water tables are up, though the seasonal streams can dry up quickly when the heat turns on. Should be nice, but be prepared for both heat and cold. I've seen it 105 on June 1st, and also seen storms come up and spoil our National Trails Day weekend festivities the first weekend in June.
