Just an FYI: If you're not already registered for ADZPCTKO, that place to
throw up your tent will have to be outside the campground. (Some suggestions
here <http://adzpctko.org/registration_2011x.htm>.)
If you've been to Lake Morena, you know that the campsites are spacious. But
we're limited on the number of *people* in each site--not the number of
tents. Too many people means overflowing trash bins, long lines in the
bathrooms, overflowing septic tanks, long lines for food, unhappy campers,
unhappy rangers, and other bad things.
To those of you who want to bring "just one person" who's small, doesn't
take up space, will sleep in the car, won't eat much--don't. I've had
literally scores of requests like that and, unfortunately, the campground is
full. They're welcome to find sleeping accommodations outside the park and
join us during the day.
