Not really. Paradise Cafe is only 2 days out of Warner Springs and 3
days out of Idyllwild via the Devil Slide trail. If you really wanted
to, you could hitch into Idyllwild from Paradise Cafe, or from the place
where the trail crosses the highway, in which case you would ride right
past Paradise Cafe.

One does not NEED to resupply there, though you will probably need to
stop there for water. Resupply at PC is a convenience, but hardly a
necessity. If you don't like their policy, don't send a package there.
