[pct-l] Ice axe KM to Trail Pass?

Hi,
  A friend is bringing bear cans and resupplies to us at the trail pass trail.  
Do you think we will need ice axes (and microspikes) between Kennedy Meadows and 
the trail pass cutoff to Lone Pine?  We will be arriving sometime around June 
23.
