[pct-l] water and snow in san jacinto & san gorgonio

maybe something that has already been discussed to death... apologies
if this is an old question.

i'm section-hiking this year from the kickoff to either big bear or
the 15. gear-wise, i'm curious what others are carrying for this
section, especially:

-ice ax and crampons? is there still snow in the san jacintos/fuller
ridge? san gorgonio? if so, what gear are you bringing to help you
reckon with it?
-what about potential creek crossings? are you hauling anything extra
to reckon with these?

i know about the water reports and have checked them. any additional
info on conditions would be very helpful.
