My suggestion is to use GPSBabel, a free program.

Google GPSBabel and download it.
Plug your GPS in using a USB cable.
Run GPSBabel.
Point the input file to Halfmile's gpx file.
In the output portion of the dialog box Select the radio button called
"Device"
Hit Enter

Hafmile's waypoints should be on your gps now.

I confess - I am unsuccessful downloading Halfmile's .gpx waypoint files
to my Garmin 60 Csx. I went through the Garmin manuals, physical and
online, read Halfmile's detailed instructions, and I must be missing
something.

If a kind person on this list would offer their assistance, I would weep
with joy.

Respond on the list or privately (privately might protect my dignity,
but most of that's gone already).

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again.

Doug
