Angel stop!

I need your help, now or later. I will be at Highway 4 and the PCT,
north of Yosemite and south of Echo Lake, on a Saturday and Sunday (or
two) when thru-hikers are most likely to be passing that point. Basic
supplies, fuels, home cooking, chocolate chip cookies, ice cold milk,
water, shade, fun stuff. Drop your trash, too. I will email short
messages for you, have a phone for use if there's reception, whatever I
can do.

YOU TELL ME, as time passes and hikes progress, which Saturday/Sunday
will work best for you or someone you are tracking as they come NOBO.
Then, based on the input, I will post which weekend it will be, at least
two weeks in advance. I will staff the spot from dawn Saturday to after
dinner on Sunday.

I know the questions will come regarding receiving packages for delivery
to specific hikers, or bringing specific supplies meant to fill an
individual need (ie., medium Smartwool whatevers). If I can make it
work, I'll do it. If you or your loved one doesn't show, just let me
know what to do with the stuff. Big or heavy stuff, like full
re-supplies, won't work, as I will have a full vehicle, and my missing
someone would be unbearable for me.

E-mail me at dtow at amrb.com I will post again as I see the pack coming
north.

Doug
