I thought some here might be interested in Roz Savage who is rowing solo
across the Indian Ocean from Fremantle Australia to India starting today,
April 12, 3:30 Pacific Time. She rowed across the Atlantic and Pacific
oceans (the first woman to do so solo). You can find her on rozsavage.com.
What she is doing and what the thru hikers are doing are in many ways
similar--essentially to get a different look on ourselves, the world, and
where we stand in it.
